Jung-sook Kim
Jung-sook Kim is a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea. She was first elected in 1989. From 1998 to May 2000 she is the chairperson of the Special Committee on Women's Affairs of the National Assembly. She also heads the Committee on Women's Affairs of her party, the Grand National Party.

Jung-sook Kim is also active in the civil society sector. At present, she holds leadership positions in the following organizations: Center for Asia Pacific Women in Politics (Vice President); Korean Institute for Women and Politics (Chairperson); Korean Women's Coalition for Politics (Co-Chair); Alumni Association of Korea University (Vice-Chair); Korea Tourism Forum (Chairperson); and Girl Scouts of Korea (Member of the Board of Trustees).
